Weekends are all about meeting up with friends, trying new restaurants, new food and sipping favourite wines. Looking at the weekend ahead things look very promising if I have at least 1 lunch date. My preference is a later lunch. So I could complete the shopping, Hermanuspietersfontein market visit, tea with a friend …before getting dressed and setting out for LUNCH! Lazy lunch is my best, lying under trees on lawn, staring into nothingness to work up an appetite for munching on many portions of fresh produce. Yesterday’s lunch in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley will be remembered for the gosht gum trees, the woodpecker making a new home, strawberry inspired dishes and classical wines. A perfect lunch ending at half past 9 with a twirl and a swirl on the dance floor. Leaving contented knowing that there is still Sunday waiting. Bliss!
