I love Hermanus for all the walking and hiking trails.  I can walk along a coastal track from Vermont to the Milkwood Restaurant at the Onrus lagoon, have a cup of coffee and continue to walk along the beach to Sandbaai.  For a change of scenery I start walking at The Burgundy Restaurant in Hermanus and walk all the way along a secure cliff path to Dutchies at Grotto.  After all this exercise I have definitely deserved the Dutch treats served by Joke and Daan.
