It’s officially Spring.  The weather did not play along on the Cape Whale Coast and Hermanus launched Spring Day with a drizzle. It is also the start of Tourism Month and the international theme is “Tourism For All”.  I am putting myself to the challenge of optimising on Tourism Month with daily new and unique experiences.  On day one I ventured outside my favourite Hermanus and had lunch in Betty’s Bay at On the Edge restaurant.  This restaurant is managed by the community of Mooi Uitsig and the team collaborates closely with CapeNature who oversees the neighbouring penguin colony at Stony Point.  A brisk walk and a few penguin photos later I was ready for hake and chips before returning to Hermanus.  All in a day’s play.
