I am keeping up with Tourism Month.  On the 2nd day of September I shall publish my 2nd Tourism For All post.  The First Friday of September and Hermanus celebrates with an Art Walk.  September is Tourism Month and this year’s theme is “Tourism For All” and promotes universal accessibility.   Hermanus First Friday is a monthly event that has removed cultural and social barriers and allows for different communities to integrate in the spirit of art appreciation.  There is no charge, it is social and it is fun.  There is also some wine and snacks on the way.  The perfect way to start the weekend.  First Friday encourages residents to be a tourist in their own town and to enjoy an outing that does not cost a cent.
