You don’t have to play golf to visit a golf club.  After popping in at the newly revamped Hermanus Golf Club today I realised that it is one of the best locations in Hermanus.  And they serve lunch. The Cape Whale Coast has a number of good golf courses.  Kleinmond’s golf club is considered a hidden treasure.  Only a short distance away is another championship course at Arabella.  Amongst the Arabella Golf Estate’s awards is the 18th hole that has been voted as the best finishing hole in South Africa.

Hermanus Golf Club is one of only three places in South Africa with a 27-hole golf course.  Not just beautiful but also an environmental success story with the rehabilitation of wetlands on the property.

In Gansbaai we have Africa’s southernmost golf course and you can see the sea while playing 9-holes.  If golf is your game we can certainly think of our region with pride as the Cape Golf Course.
