- Two flower festivals happening on the Cape Whale Coast – one in Hermanus and another in Gansbaai. Hermanus Flower Festival started yesterday, 22 September till Sunday 25 September. This festival has alpacas, treasure hunts, face painting and off course fynbos displays, walks and talks. All plus more in the amazing Fernkloof Nature Reserve in Hermanus. The Funky Fynbos Festival starts Friday with a fun ride, marathon and fishing competition. Activities are spread out in and around Gansbaai and will continue till Sunday.
- Young dancers will perform at the Hermanus Tourism kiosk at the Old Harbour entrance from 10:00 till 14:00. Please support these aspiring dancers.
- Sunday lunch should be THE meal of the week and Fisherman’s Cottage is making a huge effort to provide an awesome experience. This Sunday they host a lunch with Sumaridge Wines. Chef-Patron Anton Verhoogt has matched Hemel-en-Aarde Sumaridge wines with his own delectable gourmet creations. From 12:00 till 16:00 foodies will be entertained at this heritage restaurant just above the Old Harbour in Hermanus.
- Barry Hilton is teaming up with funny people Tracy Klass, Justin-Ray Stoffels and Carl Weber at the Class Room Restaurant at Hemel-en-Aarde Village at 18:00 for some laughter. Opportunity to end your weekend on a funny note.
