Hermanus is celebrating its 25th Whale Festival and town is buzzing!  There is a festive vibe on the streets of this Cape Whale Coast town and it feels like PARTY.  Face painting, music, an eco-tent, sporting events, clivia show, cultural event and much more… A programme is available online and Saturday is the day to be in Hermanus.

The Overstrand Municipality’s Fire Department is hard at work informing the public on fire hazards and there is an activation on road safety. KFM DJs are broadcasting from the Old Harbour with plentiful children’s activities. The whales are watching from the Walker Bay.  Maybe they will be making their usual guest appearance.  The Hermanus Whale Festival is an appropriate way to end Tourism Month on a jolly note. #TourismForAll
