I’ve said it before and we all know… Sometimes its the little things in life that makes the difference. The things that don’t come with a price tag.
Just beyond Stanford and before you get to Gansbaai on the Cape Whale Coast there is a little bit of magic for all to see. In De Kelders, not far from the bakery and with interrupted sea views in 10 Haarlem Street, you will find a Fantasy Garden styled with trinkets and inspirational quotes. One woman’s dedication to gardening has created a make-believe world of story book characters. The path way starts at the lighthouse in the driveway and is clearly laid out. Visitors just have to put one foot in-front the other and follow the miniature displays. It is a circular walk of discovery with many photo opportunities. A great, even if brief, escape from normal.
It is almost the end of Tourism Month but I feel as if I have just started to touch on the many travel and tourism opportunities in my neighbourhood. No surprise that SA Tourism is extending the campaign till next month. #TourismForAll

This is really lovely! Thank you for sharing!
So pleased to have found this fantasy garden in De Kelders. It has been a labour of love for 11 years.
