Great news one week before take-off for Portugal.  My visa has been issued and is ready for collection.  Such a relief to know that my documents are fine and that I’ve been granted official approval to travel to a foreign destination – for the first time in three years!  How did I let this happen?

I shared great hiking stories with four Hermanus girls who has walked all over Europe and have also done the Camino. Every conversation with hikers has the same conclusion…  Everyone’s journey is unique and everyone needs different things on their journey.  Pre-camino these special things include a Riedel glass and nice pajamas as far as I’m concerned.  Just thinking of pajamas is making me sleepy.  Tomorrow is another day to conquer and discover.
