Some places just have magic.  They energise and recharge.  Sometimes they serve great cake too.  My half way stop between Hermanus and Cape Town in Somerset West comes to mind.  A special eatery with an unlikely name.  Pajamas and Jam.  Open from Monday to Saturday 7:00am till 4:00pm this gem offers inspirational food and a tonic to blow away any bad hair day.

Tucked away in an industrial setting watch out for the helicopter on the roof.  The interior is chic and polished with every single menu item a treat.  An escape from every day life.  Next time take a shotleft and go for some soul food.  There won’t be any complaints at Pajamas and Jam!
