The holidays are over for most people.  Most people are going back to work.  For others this is the perfect time to breakaway and enjoy some post holiday rest and relaxation.  Why not Mauritius? There is something about an island that begs for time out.  The shades of blue have the ability to put you in a conscious subconscious mode.

My sister was fortunate enough to take the break I need.  She flew from Cape Town to Mauritius and stayed at the Zilwa Attitude.  This hotel which means “islander” in Creole was the first hotel with a Creole name in Mauritius. Zilwa is situated in the north of Mauritius, in Kalodyne, close to the fishermen’s village of Grand Gaube. A 4 star Mauritian paradise.  Everything was arranged by Thompson Travel and all my sister had to do was show up at Cape Town International Airport.  I share a few of her lovely photos which only makes me want to fly off to Mauritius.  One day I will. #MyMauritius
