At Village & Life establishment, The Farmhouse, in Langebaan there is great food, amazing views and a typical country shop.  The shop sells all the sweets from way back when as well as some crafts.  My favourite was the wooden Black Oyster Catchers sculpted by Daan Samuels who lives in Velddrift.  Goes to show that when one travels – even locally – you are keen to see the local art and meet the artist.  Yes, We want to do tourism properly.
