The Overberg has many great farm stalls and today I was reminded of what an important role these shops play in our rural communities. An early morning drive to Swellendam called for a coffee stop at the Napier Farm Stall. Open and ready for business with freshly baked scones this is where you’ll meet the locals, read the paper and get wifi to connect to the world outside this relaxed country village.

Where there are no malls or fancy coffee shops there are homely farm stalls with friendly faces.
