A visit to the Oyster Box Hotel is one way to add a little panache to the annual Indaba tourism and travel show. When in Durban I don’t need much of an incentive to visit the coastal village of Umhlanga. Much less to have a drink at the landmark Oyster Box that is part of the Red Carnation group of hotels.  Sitting on the verandah the lighthouse is in close proximity guarding over the coast and the many visitors that this stretch of beach sees every day.
