Every day serves a new menu and we pick our meals and courses. With it being winter in Hermanus there’s still surprisingly lots to do and see. For starters – June is Hermanus FynArts month in Hermanus and next week we will be busy with many different art exhibition openings.  The most visible part of FynArts is the Sculptures on the Cliff Path.  The first of these have just been installed at Gearings Point and presents a small taste of what’s on offer.  June also marks the arrival of the Southern Right whales.  After living in Hermanus for 14 years I still can’t get enough of whale sightings and am overwhelmed every time I see a whale breach.
