Domaine Des Dieux won the prize as South Africa’s Best Cap Classique last week in the annual Amorim Cap Classique Challenge.  Owner Sharon Parnell, daughter Megan and Wine Ambassador, Shane Mullis, are 3 of the personalities most visible in this business who received the same acknowledgement in 2014. The Domaine des Dieux Claudia Brut MCC 2012, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, won the category for Best Brut Blend as well as Best Producer having achieved the highest score of all the 127 wines entered.

This is a win for Domaine Des Dieux, the owners and also for the Overberg region as it confirms the reputation of Hemel-en-Aarde as South Africa’s premium wine growing region. A sparkling award indeed!
