My year started with a sparkle watching fireworks celebrating a fresh start. The sparkle continued for 2 days with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the special friends and family I have. People who never wither in their support. People who make my life lighter.

I am thankful for family who keeps me grounded but also spoilt with love and luxury. The love of unquestioned acceptance. The luxury of boat trips to secluded beaches, sipping bubbly in the water’s edge and making small talk. I am thankful for friends who are just THERE. With food, coffee, wine but mostly conversation. The type of talk that reminds me of who I am and what I love.

What will this year bring? I don’t know but with my friends and family by my side I look forward to a rich year.
