February is the month of love and travel shows it seems.  I don’t venture to Johannesburg often but this month I visited the City of Gold twice. The Flight Centre Travel Expo was an eye opener.  Attendance at this show demonstrated how much people love travelling and also how much everyone loves a good deal.

This week, I’m here for Meetings Africa.  It will be the first time that I attend this trade show that is traditionally hosted in the Sandton Convention Centre for 2 days.  The show’s slogan is “Meet Here, Grow Anywhere”.

The Business Opportunities Network day went well with speakers talking about the changes in the business environment, role of technology and mentoring SMMEs to supply to big business. Cape Whale Coast will be part of the Wesgro stand and it was encouraging to see that the #NoWhereBetter campaign that was recently launched, is already part of the display.  I hope to find the stand completed and ready for business this morning.

I look forward to many meetings and growing the interest in the Cape Whale Coast as a first choice for holiday or business.
