Travel Tuesday Thumbs Up to the Zeppelin

What to do when the cold and ill health keep you indoors on Travel Tuesday? Google to the rescue. I learnt that on 2 July 1900 – today 119 years ago – the first rigid airship took off over Lake Constance in the Rhine River bordering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The airship had the patented Zeppelin design. A design that later lent its name to the 60s rock band Led Zeppelin who used Zeppelin airship images on their album covers and merchandise. #TravelTuesday
