Phillipskop Mountain Reserve is part of the Cradle of Human Culture, a new route that celebrates heritage.  The spotlight is on the ancient rock art on the farm which is situated about 9 kilometers outside Stanford.

Stay in the self catering cottages on the farm and rise and shine in the morning to hike the many trails leading to Tesselaarsdal and Stanford.  My best walk was down hill to Klein River Cheese Farm for good coffee and great cheese.  Phillipskop is the place for some rest and relaxation.  A place to recharge en refresh.
