We raised a Riedel glass or 2 to the noble grape varietal Chardonnay. It was a Bouchard Finlayson Missionvale 2016 that paired well with salmon, lemon and herb chicken and a soft cheese bought at Woolworths. There are hardly better ways to celebrate the day – any day.
